Living moments | Calgary Family Photographer10.25.11

I was commissioned on the Thanksgiving weekend to capture living moments of 4 generations of a family that I have been fortunate enough to work with on a number of occasions.  Unfortunately the premise for the photo shoot came from sad circumstances.  Fortunately though (as hard as it is sometimes), the forethought was there to capture these moments.  Because these moments are their moments, I will not be sharing them here…I am only bringing this up as a reminder (to myself as well).

Take pictures, take lots of pictures!  Capture the little things…working in the kitchen, playing games, kisses, hugs, laughs, hands (I love hands…they tell a story in themselves) and even tears.  If you can’t hire someone to take them, take a ton yourself.  Those visual reminders spark the memories that you can share with generations to come.
