The first social series seminar went off extremely well this Wednesday, although I think that everyone left feeling a little overwhelmed and a little guilty. I know that I, for one, sat through Kerry's presentation looking around at all of the environmental faux pas' – chilean grapes, non-recycled napkins, not to mention all of the energy-sucking equipment. Fortunately Kerry does stress even just starting by choosing one way to reduce our carbon footprint can help. I will try to post a few points next week that really resonated with me for those who were interested and missed the session. I had a significant number of clients that had hoped to make it so I will be posting details of Kerry's next session for parents – she mentioned that she would be holding a seminar at the Strathcona Community Center in April (www.greenplan-it.ca).
