About Jody

Hello and welcome to my blog.  I am a Calgary family photographer specializing in maternity, newborn, baby, children and family portraits.  I offer both studio and location (natural light) options for clients.  My style has been characterized as real.simple.clean.fun and I strive to capture the personalities of your little ones as well as document your family connections.  The centrally located studio showcases beautiful examples of how we can turn these images into fine art pieces to decorate your homes with the ones you love.  Thanks for stopping by and for your feedback!

Funny story

I was going to be blogging some pictures this afternoon anyway, however I did not want to have this story go with the pictures that I will be sharing in the next post.

As you may recall I am on Day 2 of the cleanse… If anyone has done the Wild Rose Cleanse they will know that it can get a bit bland, so I decided to prepare an Indian dish for lunch to try to offset the plain taste of mung beans and rice.  The children were eating macaroni and peas as I was making mine (it is questionable as to the nutritional value there but whatever!).  The cumin and coriander gave off, by children's despcription, a "stinky" smell.  This resulted in A ramming a pea up his nose to "keep the stink out".  At 4 and half, you would think that we would be beyond this stage.  Once the "emergency" had passed, I do have to say that I did laugh at his ingenuity despite the disgustingness!

Hope that this brightens a few days as much as it did mine!  Here is a picture of the little stinker!

Drew prakash - Hilarious. You see that's why I don't like the smell of my own cooking cause yes he is right.....Indian food is stinky!! lol...lol. Would love to have seen a picture of the pea up his nose, would have made a good facebook profile picture for him when he grows up. January 6, 2009 - 1:43 pm
