This is the third session in a Watch Me Grow package with this family. We decided to move out of the studio this time and into their home to get some of their casual family moments captured. We had the music playing and we were dancing (I might have been singing and should not have been:). I love all of the little guy’s expressions and unique features (love the birth mark on his left arm). Had to capture his expression as he was anticipating getting tickled by dad! Getting the opportunity to capture these things for clients makes me SOOOO happy. I ADORE my job! Thank you!

I am back in Calgary tomorrow to work with some special moms this weekend! Can’t wait!

I thoroughly enjoy working with this family. Not only are the gorgeous and dressed to the nines but they are sweet and funny and we always have a great time. We were going to have an outfit change to do some casual shots at the end when Miss O, in true model form, said “No, done!” and walked out the door. It was hilarious. M family it was fantastic to see you as always and I can’t wait to see the rest of the family soon!

I was back in Calgary this past weekend and got to see this little guy again. He was one of the most alert newborns that I had at only 6 days old. Here is a shot then, and a shot now at 6 months. I love working with this family and will share more soon:)

Availability update: I do have one session remaining late afternoon of May 12th and and late afternoon of June 16th. I will have the remaining August and September times posted over the next couple of weeks.

I am feeling so bad that this introduction is coming SOOO late. This is Cristina, Tot Shots studio manager. Many of you have had the opportunity to meet her as she has been with Tot Shots since last September. She has been an AMAZING addition to Tot Shots! I only kick myself that it took me so long to ask her if she wanted to work with me:) I have known her for a few years and always had in the back of my mind that she would be such an amazing addition to the company. She is organized, detailed, smart, positive and friendly. She has one of the most infectious smiles around and I am so happy to have her as part of our team! I brought her in so I could focus more attention on the clients and her value has far exceeded that. With the move Cristina has been an instrumental piece to me being able to keep my business going and running smoothly in Calgary. I could not have continued to run my business without her and I am so thankful that she agreed to be a part of Tot Shots. Here is a couple of shots that I took before Christmas with her and her awesome little guy!

I was SOOOOO excited when this client asked if we could do the final session of their Watch Me Grow package in California rather than Calgary (and I think she was as excited as me:). So we have been planning over the last couple of months where to go (that was not too far from Anaheim where they were staying). After discussions with the locals and some location scouting, I decided on Laguna Beach. It is gorgeous! The rocks, the waves, the sun and even the parks. And not only was the location stunning but my clients were so relaxed and having fun. I definitely think that vacation looks great on this family:) I received several comments about how joyful they look in the image from the last post. I agree! This will not be the last time you see them this year either as I get to work with the extended family next month back in Calgary. I can’t wait!

It was pretty fun to shoot my first session at Laguna Beach yesterday – with a fun family, in a gorgeous location! Celebrating the little one’s 1st birthday and the family relaxing on vacation. Enjoy the rest of your vacation J and T and I will have a bunch more soon!

I had so much fun with this family at this session. I have always loved working with them but this session felt really good. I think that they were really relaxed and it definitely reflected in the pictures. This was the little guy’s six month session so we had to capture some of the little things that are unique to him. He rubs his feet like little grasshopper legs and it is super cute. And the swirl in his hair is adorable! J and D, thank you for a great session!
